You generally want to store the result of a googledrive call, as we do with files above. files is a dribble with info on several files and can be used as the input for downstream calls. It can also be manipulated as a regular data frame at any point.

It seems my team drives are not being properly accessed. No files show up when I try to do a directory listing. I've created my own client and secret to see if it would make a difference, but same outcome.

I have been trying myself and I cannot get it working. I honestly know just as much as you do about every google drive api. I feel this google bug based on the way google drive documentation is written.

Had the same problem.Solution for me was changing time zone in windows settings.Reason: cookie started with "download_warning_....", returned from google.com, become immediately expired and never sent back.

Google Drive for desktop is much more simple than it was a few years ago; it acts purely as a cloud storage folder, and is accessed the same way that you would access a physical storage folder on your hard drive. Unfortunately, Desktop Google Drive itself has very few options as far as settings and preferences go. Enter Back Up and Drive from Google.

Hi Natalia!I have a problem with the way google sheets interprets the dates I'm writting. I have a column for dates with the format dd-mm-yyyy. However, when I type a date such as 12-2-23 it assumes the date 23-12-2012 by default! What can I do? Thanks!

As i am trying to use countifs formula for eg:- column C has filled with dark and column b with date , so I want to use this formula in a way if i give a date range for 15th jan to 20th jan how many count of dark is there while trying a formula in excel it was working but not in google sheet as there was some issue with date format while trying to change the date format for few cells it got changed but for few it didnt how to resolve these both issues

Hi i have 1 problem with dates if i type 23/8 it must put in the date 23/8/2020 according to my farnatting but it doesnt it only show 23/8 as data and not a date because it reads the 23 as month if i type 8/23 then it show the date 23/8/2020. I need to type the month first and then the date for google sheets to read it as a date. If i type the date and then the month as with excel, google sheets does not read it as a date. This is very annoying. Please help

The folder view option (above) still works, e.g. resolves to: _y67X0Fhcmg5XzhoR0Ubut this only displays a (directory) list of the files. Getting them to display is another issue. Google drive knows how to display many types, but uses the Drive builtin viewer. Not quite the same as streaming the file to the mobile browser for display.

I have read some articles to backup and restore the sqlite db in xamarin forms to google drive with the help of google developer account and i have to use api key for that. I am not able to understand that if i deploy my app to the playstore and if the user want to use his email id then how it will be possible to backup the database to his google drive account without an api key. Hi, PrashantSharma. Do you mean the api key in the AndroidManifest.xml? The key is about your app, it doesn't require the user to provide an api key.
